Mr. Mele has been successfully representing a wide variety of corporate and individual clients as a litigator and trusted business adviser for more than 20 years. He has extensive experience as lead trial counsel in state and federal courts in matters involving complex commercial disputes, serious personal injuries cases-both plaintiff and defendant, maritime litigation, insurance disputes, and bankruptcy adversary proceedings. Mr. Mele has also argued numerous appeals in the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, the Appellate Division of the State of New York, First and Second Departments, and the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts. Outside the law Mr. Mele is an accomplished songwriter and a Black Belt in the marital art of Shaolin Chuan Kung Fu.
